Father Daughter Dance

Dad's mark your calendars for Friday, February 10th, when we'll be hosting our annual Father Daughter Valentines Dance. It will be a wonderful night of games, music, and fun. The dance will take place at TVC from 5:30 - 7:30. You wont want to miss it!


Salvation Army Opportunities

The Salvation is in need of volunteers to help man collection locations. People are needed to simply sit at the doors of WalMart, City Market (Avon and Vail) and Safeway and hand out a list of needed items and then take any donations that people might offer on their way out of the store. Minturn Seniors Community Outreach

If you have a heart for serving seniors, please send your contact information to . We have adopted the Minturn seniors and provide support whenever we are requested. We provide senior shopping buddies on Wednesdays; medical appointment transportation as needed; and special visits as requested. Currently the Eagle County Coordinator has a critical need for help with home delivered meal. The details related to the need are:
Home delivered meal driver on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Pick up meals in Eagle at approximately 11:45am, drop off four meals to another volunteer in Avon, go back to Edwards and deliver two meals to two clients. If the volunteer is over 55 we can pay them .40 per mile for mileage reimbursement.

Food Drive

Don’t forget to bring your non-perishable food items to the church. We will keep a bin in the foyer on Sunday mornings for your food. This project has been created to help those in need in our church body, and those in need in the community. Needs for this week: diapers, baby wipes, laundry detergent, kitchen trash bags, soup, crackers, canned fruit, toilet paper, paper towels, flip-top canned tuna
